THINGS TO REMEMBER AT THE AIRPORT
- Your plane landed
and you are ready to step on USA. Please be sure that you did not forget anything
on plane.
- You will be directed
to the US customs where you will present your passport and related necessary
information (I-20 if you are a student).
- The officer
will staple I-94 to your passport and stample your I-20.
- You will need
to find the place for baggage claim for your flight to take your baggages.
- If you have a
connecting flight after you arrive in USA, do not forget to take your baggage
to the next check-in station for your next flight.
- If that airport
is your final destination, then you should pass through the customs with your
baggages. You will submit theform stating the goods you bring with you (the
form will most probably be given to you on the plane).
- Should you need
to use the telephone, public telephones are usually available near baggage
claim areas. You can buy pre-paid telephone cards or use your credit card
for long distance calls. For local calls, the charge varies from 25 cents
to 35 cents depending on the area.
